The National School Transportation Association hosts several live events each year. These live events give our members the opportunity to gain timely information related to student transportation and offer a high level of personal engagement with peers, industry experts, and vendors - who offer useful services to help support their school bus contracting. In addition, our live events include plenty of networking opportunities in exciting venues across the country.
On January 22, 2024, the National School Transportation Association (NSTA) approved a budget that includes a platform for hosting the 2024 School Bus Driver International Safety Competition.
This event remains an annual staple of the NSTA live meeting schedule and is typically hosted in mid to late July in locations around the country. The program combines networking events with professional development sessions focused on student transportation issues.
2024 NSTA is confirmed for January 19-22, 2025 to be held at the amazing The Westin Maui Resort& Spa hotel, where you can experience the essence of Hawaii.
Love the Bus Month is an annual month-long celebration held each February. The event highlights the important role of the yellow school bus in education and shows appreciation for the professional school bus drivers who safely transport students each day.
NSTA hosts a Capitol Hill Bus-In in conjunction with the Congressional calendar, and gives participants a chance to engage with policy-makers. This event in Washington, DC also highlights the importance of the NSTA Advocacy Team’s work.
