NSTA FLASH Webinar Series:
Cybersecurity Best Practices - Google vs.
Microsoft Suite Interaction
Please join us on Wednesday, March 20, 2024
at 12:00 PM (ET) for an informative webinar
Join us for an informative webinar hosted by the NSTA Manufacturers, Suppliers, and Technology (MST) Committee. As many know, working closely with school districts can mean multiple interactions with the Google Suite. This reality comes to fruition despite the fact that many private school bus operators themselves utilize the Microsoft Suite of Information Technology products. Both of these platforms remain secure in their own realm, but what happens when we are forced to have them interact with each other? Are your employees putting your company at risk by using personal Google accounts to interface with school district customers? How can operators bridge this gap? Join Cora Park, President and CEO or Diamond Business Solutions, as she covers general cybersecurity best practices for your office, and provides expert insight on how your company can effectively and securely manage these system interfaces in your operation.
Target Audience for this Webinar: According to MSTC BI 1 of the NSTA Strategic Business Plan, the MST Committee should offer education programs for staff on technology, and this webinar endeavors to provide that offering to our members. While School Bus Company Owner/Operators are welcome to register for and attend this program, we ask that you also make relevant staff members aware of it as well. Attendees who complete this program, will be given a (.5 hour) certificate of completion that may be used to demonstrate to your insurance carrier that your company has taken steps to undertake risk management in your operations.
